I chose to photograph a basketball because for me basketball is a way to always be fully present in the moment. When I am playing I am not worried or thinking about anything except what I am doing, I am fully in a state of peace.

While walking on campus I happened to see this orange honeysuckle bush that I had never seen before. As I was taking the picture, the wind was blowing the bush, allowing the honeysuckles to flow in the wind and it even blew one off. The grass on the quad is mowed in a pattern that looks very symmetrical. I love how this looks because it opens my eyes to how much care is put into our university and making it look good for everyone who steps onto campus.
