My spring break started out as a day trip to Savannah, GA with Garrett Stafford. We went to an oyster bar a few blocks away from the river and took a walk around town. This oyster bar has phenomenal po-boys and different breeds of oysters from different parts of the country to try!

I also visited Athens, GA for my friend’s 21st birthday! The bar she really wanted to go to had this wonderful neon sign by the bathrooms.

Finally, Garrett and I got conveyor belt sushi at Kura which had robot waiters that brought drinks to the tables! Afterwards, we went to the State Farm Arena to see The Eagles play during their 50th Anniversary Tour (and is rumored to be their last tour together). This is Garrett and I’s favorite band to listen to together so seeing them in concert was a crazy experience.
Here is a video of their opening song, Hotel California, which features Joe Walsh and Timothy Schmit performing their guitar duet. “It was a lot more fun being 20 in the 70s than 70 in the 20s,” Joe Walsh said. What an experience!
