Stop, Drop, and Roll

On March 16, at 5:30 p.m, in the Mize Parking Lot for the Stop, drop, and roll fire safety event at Piedmont University, firefighter Lane Kimsey demonstrated the process of putting on the gear all firefighters are required to wear for their safety when responding to a call. Kimsey volunteered to show people who attended the event anything they wanted to see from the fire truck and the equipment they use.

In the Mize Parking Lot on March 16 for the stop, drop, and roll fire safety event, Trinitee Keel is participating in the smoke simulator that the fire marshal, Josh Hazel, was able to bring to the event. The smoke simulator is a camper that is filled with fake smoke to allow people who wish to participate to experience what it would be like to escape a smokey room.

March 16 in the Mize Parking Lot, Noah McLain participated in the stop, drop, and roll fire safety event at Piedmont University. Noah McLain was very eager to put on the fireman gear and loved every second of it, despite it being very heavy.
