During the first inning, Ryan Kelly (#21) ran for a home run after Henry Pelinski (#9) made a hit. Piedmont’s pitcher, Peyton Irvin (#1), and catcher, Tyler Nelson (#35), both made a move to get Kelly out before he could make it to home plate but were too late. Infielder Scott Lyon (#14) was captured taking a few practice swings by the dug out. He was up next to bat.Harrison Trawick applauds his teammates at the end of the first inning. Spirits were still high as this was just the beginning of decent game.
