Lucy Grant, played by Carly Jelnik, dances with Billy Cane, played by Gabe Richman, at the Shinny Penny Club. Ally Kaspor, Max Daves, Dakota Rose Chen, Hannah Sheifield, Athena Lux, Ethan Man, Dante Wilson, Joshua Farmer, Clayton Maddox, and Marius Krings can also be seen dancing and singing in the background of the play of Bright Star. 
Daddy Cane, played by Dante Wilson, excitedly greets his son Billy Cane, played by Gabe Richman, after returning home. The play, Bright Star, takes us on the journey of Billy Cane and how he travels to Asheville to become a writer. 
Daddy Cane, played by Dante Wilson, can be seen walking down a river where he unexpectedly finds the gift of a lifetime. Bright Star is a play put on by Piedmont University’s Theatre Department at the Swanson Center for Performing Arts & Communications; opening night will be on March 30th at 7:30PM.
